Holistic Health Coach, Carla Thomas, joined Mike to ask can you buy less?

In the spirit of Lent, Carla often challenges herself to live without things to see what it changes in her life. “I first started this when I was nine, giving up cordial for lent and I’ve never looked back. For me, it’s a reset, where I look at what I’m spending and consuming and see what I could do without,” she said. “I’m not a practicing Catholic but giving up things serves to remind me that we can still be happy when we spend less and have less.

“It’s realising what do we really need to have in life or what are we holding onto and what do we generally try to keep up with as a habit, more than actual need or necessity and is it even making us happy?”

Where can you spend less? Can you swap vs make a new purchase? Instead of buying, where could you give back instead?  Let us know your thoughts by texting or messaging us on socials. Listen to the full chat below!
