Kirste’s daughter has just started teaching.
But Kirste has noticed that her teacher persona has crept into her personal life. “She’s brought her job home. It’s so funny how what you do at work seeps into your personal life.” So Kirste and Dan wanted to know, when has your job crept into your personal life?
Rosie does face painting, balloon twisting, and magic shows for 26 years. “Often I find myself turning a rubber glove into a balloon chicken. Or painting people’s faces at a dinner party. Or find myself auditioning like Americas Got Talent.” Jamie Lee is a nurse but tends to neglect her family. She sees much worse at work so she is unfazed by minor injuries. “You’ll be right walk it off. You’re fine.” Rachel is a graphic designer who proofread a magazine for years. “I can not turn off the proof-reader. Okay, this classroom has teacher’s ‘assisant’ not teacher’s assistant.”
