Mother's Day Discussion Panel - What Matters to Mums
Can mums have it all?
What is the greatest need for mums in 2022?
In this special Mother’s Day Panel, we’ve gathered three mums, all with different parenting methods and lifestyles to help us tackle these very questions. Join us on Facebook live this coming Wednesday, for ‘What Matters To Mums’. We’ll be having a real, authentic and spontaneous conversation about motherhood with our special guests Dr Eleanor Arbuckle, Jayne Crichton and Cherie Macchiusi.

Meet the panellists:

Dr Eleanor Arbuckle

Dr Eleanor Arbuckle

Dr Eleanor is a GP in Perth having emigrated from Glasgow in 2017. She is married to the legendary Dr Stuart and is blessed with a son Joshua and a daughter Bethany. “We absolutely love our life here in Western Australia and the Church community we are now part of. I love running, cycling with my road bike and abstract painting and crocheting in my spare time.”

Jayne Crichton

Jayne Crichton is a mother of 3 adult children and 6 grandchildren. Jayne is married to legend and radio personality Mike Crichton. An ordained Minister, teacher and speaker Jayne has been serving the WA community for more than two decades through the local church. Her passion is to see strong families and communities through the restorative power and love of Christ. Jayne has now thrown her hat into the political arena believing there is a need for strong, honest and integral leadership at this point in history. She is believing for a brighter future for this generation and beyond.

Cherie Macchiusi

Cherie Macchiusi has been a speaker on relationships and parenting for many years mainly through MOPS. An organisation that seeks to nurture and encourage women in the challenging season of parenting the 0-5’s. She is a Lecturer at ECU where she teaches Humanities and Maths in the School of Education. She is married to Carlo, her best friend and has two young adult children (truly the toughest season of parenting; the baby stuff was a breeze in comparison.) She loves reading (starts a book club wherever she goes), making memories with friends and taking on new challenges. She is passionate about encouraging people to grow and become all that God intended them to be.
