Glenn Smirk - NDIS Team leaderGlenn Smirk is an NDIS team leader and outreach relief co-ordinator. Jeziel chatted to him about what exactly the NDIS does, and how it factors into practical mental health support. Glenn recalls that as a young person, he needed someone like him to support him through his mental health journey. Through working with Richmond Wellbeing, Glenn and his team provide NDIS services and support across the Perth Metro region.

“There are around 4.3 million Australians who have a disability. Within the next five years, the NDIS will provide an estimated 500,000 Australians who have a permanent and significant disability with funding for supports and services. For many people, it will be the first time they receive the disability support they need.”
