We are a local community market with delicious food, coffee, produce and atmosphere and with the sunshine starting to reappear it’s a great place to start your Saturday mornings off just right! Look forward to meeting you down there one morning and keep posted for our weekly line up and events.

 

Global Influence/Local Impact ConferenceChampion Lakes Conference

9:30am – 1pm, Champion Lakes Christian Church, free!

Champion Lakes Christian Church has an awesome line up of speakers for their annual Outreach conference (Global Influence/Local Impact), including Caleb Brownhill from YWAM, Kylie Fernandez from GraceLife Church, Garth Eichhorn from Street Chaplains WA, Tara Conradt from Sanctuary Church and many other amazing guests!

Fashion Parade and  afternoon tea for Operation Christmas Child

1pm, Thornlie Christian College Hall, $20 per ticket.

Head along for a fun afternoon fashion parade, afternoon tea, raffles and stall.

Soul to Sole Annual ConcertSoul to Sole annuel dance concert

6pm, Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, free!

Soul To Sole is a dance ministry that seeks to worship the Lord in dance and connect dancers with followers of Christ. The concert will be performed by children and teens from Year 1 to Year 12, head along to support then! More info.

 

 

Sunday 10th November

Free skin cancer screening at Secret Harbour Surf Lifesaving ClubLIONS mobile skin cancer checks

9 am – 3 pm, Secret Harbour Surf Lifesaving Club.

Head along to a free cancer screening at the Secret Harbour Surf Life Saving Club. It’s 10 minutes that could just save your life. Our dedicated team of volunteer Dermatoscopist will be conducting free skin cancer screenings.

 

 

 

 

Back to Pickering Brook Festival: celebrating 25 years

10:30 am – 7 pm, Heritage Park next to the school – Pickering Brook, free!

Entertainment includes: The Italian Ladies Choir, Bush Poets, Log chop and Sleeper Hewer, Bush Band, Kanyana Wildlife Centre will bring along animals native to the area, Food and stalls, Craft activities for the children, Vintage Cars, Clydesdale Horses, Buskers, Bus Tours of the district. Come down and wander through the buildings and learn about the history of Pickering Brook.

 

ANZAC Cottage Remembers the FallenANZAC cottage: The House Built in One Day

3-6 pm, Anzac Cottage, free!

The Friends of ANZAC Cottage invite you to join them as they will commemorate the fallen. Activities will include a free poppy making workshop, a talk by Sue Carter on battlefield artefacts and the 10th Light Horse Rockingham Troop. The day will conclude with a Sunset Service at 5:30 pm.

 

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe


2 pm and 7:3o pm, Koorliny Arts Centre, $20-$25.

Enter the magical land of Narnia, where animals talk, trees can walk, a white witch covers the landscape with snow and bewitches you with Turkish Delight, and where a mighty lion rescues you whenever you get into trouble. C.S. Lewis’ much-loved tale is adapted by Glyn Robbins for the stage.
