ADDRESS TO THE 98FIVE NATION

G’day. My fellow 98five family. Today, our State is experiencing a greater need.

People of all ages and backgrounds are affected by loneliness. In today’s technologically advanced and demographically changed society, we’re lonelier than ever before.

There are also more communication avenues than ever before yet statistics are showing we’re feeling more isolated despite being saturated by social media.

It’s the silent epidemic that’s taking over our community. It’s called the loneliness epidemic.

There’s a greater and growing need of real connection, of family and community.

98five’s mission has always been to make known a greater love – a message of hope.

That’s why we’ve declared June: Vote for Hope month.

Hope is belonging. Hope is family. Hope is love.

At 98five, we are asking you, our family, to help us have a greater reach and respond to the greater need with a greater love. Make your vote count now.

Thank you and God bless.
