Former Shalom House employment coordinator and Mornings show regular Michelle Kivits recently waved us goodbye to settle into her new work against child exploitation in Cambodia has some pics to share with the 98five family.

And, a call-out to tradies who are looking for mission trip opportunities: you have until Sunday to join Awareness Cambodia’s Maintenance Trip (see all the info below).

Umm…this might be a problem, what do you think?

Michelle learning to ride their newly purchased ‘moto’ with her very patient teacher Rathana Lach. I’m OK until I need to turn, LOL

Two of the students who are part of the kids that live at Sunshine House return each day in the school bus for a cooked lunch before returning for their afternoon lessons.

Sunshine House also shares its property with these guys so no need for a lawn mower

Karel Kivits in front of one of the vehicles used for regular trips out to Sunshine House, which is about a one and a half hour drive from Phnom Phen in the Province of Kampong Speu. (Will leave it to your imaginations as to what the last 10km might look and feel like given the vehicle that is used for these trips.)

Cambodian roadside market seller, check out the fresh meat, it was about 36 degrees Celsius
