The Water Concerto is on at Holmes à Court Gallery this Friday night.

This performance is being described as otherworldly, dramatic and captivating as the soloist manipulates water through the use of instruments that have been specifically designed for this piece. Performer and designer Thea Rossen joined Bec and Jeziel to chat about it.

“When you think about a concerto, you think of a classic concerto…This is the same setup except I’m splashing and making sounds with water. I’m dipping different instruments into the water and using different things to create beautiful captivating sounds.”
