The Indian Ocean Craft Triennial kicks into full gear this weekend. It is a rich festival involving over 200 craftspeople, design-makers and artisans!
Bec and Jeziel spoke to curator Jude van der Merwe about this amazing festival. The main exhibitions will be held at John Curtin gallery and the Fremantle Arts Centre. They will feature work from artists around the globe. The ‘Future in Craft’ conference will gather craft enthusiasts together to hear about what’s happening around the world. There will also be a fashion event at the WA Museum and over 40 exhibitions around Perth.
