Adrian Munro, CEO of Richmond Wellbeing, joined Mike to discuss the importance of self-purpose. “It’s something that is very strongly linked to our mental health and wellbeing.” You may find a sense of purpose in the impact of your job, or working towards where you really want to be. It’s good to set long-term goals and understand that nothing worth wild is achieved in one week, it takes time. This helps you take control over your mind and realise you have the power to change your circumstances.
“People can have a strong sense of purpose no matter what stage of life. No matter what you are going through. Yes, it may take time to rebuild your life. But I can’t think of any reason why someone wouldn’t have a sense of purpose to say I’m going to achieved something meaningful.”
