This weekend hundreds of swimmers will take to the blue waters of the Indian ocean for the Rottnest channel swim.
Lead by Harry Garland, the Swim for Proudie team is once again getting behind Warrick Proudlove for the 2016 Rottnest Channel Swim.
The struggles that Warrick and his family have faced since he was in a tragic accident in 2011, leaving him with serious neurological damage, have inspired Harry and the team to Swim for Proudie and take on the grueling 20km open water swim to raise money for the continued care and treatment of Warrick.
Last year the Swim for Proudie team managed to raise just shy of an incredible $23,000. They hope that this year they will be able to continue the support of Warrick’s rehabilitation and spread awareness of the Proudies Foundation.
