Reading Time: 1 minute

The Sunshine Beach Run is now in its 8th year and will take place at City Beach on Sunday 10th March from 7 am to 11 am to raise vital funds for Red Nose!

People can walk or run (1km, 3km and 5km distances) to help Red Nose end Sudden and Unexpected Deaths in Infants, including SIDS and stillbirth by registering for the Sunshine Beach Run.

Fundraising from the event will assist Red Nose to reach their goal of reducing nine deaths a day to zero.

The event attracts over 1000 participants each year – from serious runners (running 5km on beach sand is hard work!) to families wanting to remember a loved little one or wanting to support the work of Red Nose.

It was established in 2009 by West Coast Eagles Physiotherapist, Chris Perkins after the tragic loss of his stillborn son Jake and his wife Cindy.
