Let me tell you a little story about last Friday.
I was taking photos at Free Coffee Friday and one of the student’s mums came up to me with tears in her eyes. She pointed out one of the kids on the court, playing in the netball clinic and said, “My child has epilepsy and suspected autism. He usually never joins in group activities especially sports, but look there he is.” There he was, right in amongst it, with a giant smile on his face, throwing, catching and running with his peers. She thanked us for bringing the netball team and Free Coffee Friday to their school.
That right there is why we do what we do. What an honour it is to get out and be a part of the community. And this is all thanks to you family. So thank you to Rangers Netball for putting on the clinic and joining the Free Coffee Friday team, but mostly thank you family because your support over our 30 years creates stories like these.
