“This song is quite different to anything I’d usually write. It’s quite vulnerable. It’s about two people who grew up together and fell in love, then they have a big bust up. All of a sudden it’s years after that fight, they don’t even remember what the fight was about. This song is all about how as humans we often let pride, bitterness and anger steal from us what life is supposed to be about, which is the joy and beauty of relationships.”
