Russian photographer Kristina Makeeva took photos of Moscow City during the Christmas period and frankly, it looked way better than mine did.
Don’t get me wrong, I saw some fantastic Christmas lights throughout the Perth suburbs, but I’d be kidding myself if I didn’t confess that Moscow’s display is something from a fairytale.
Next Christmas, my dad is planning on adding a wooden snowman to our front yard after last years, life-size Timber Grinch was such a big hit with the neighbours. However, after being exposed to this spectacular Russian effort, I might just pat him on the back and say “don’t bother this year dad, the Kremlin has put you to shame before you’ve even started.”
