“People are concerned that they will be penalised and victimised for just talking about their religious beliefs. Sadly these concerns are valid.” Not just in terms of SSM, but if you’re in a work or public place and you don’t agree with a certain group you should be able to say so without being punished.
So the Ruddock Review shall examine and report on whether Australian law (Commonwealth, State and Territory) adequately protects the human right to freedom of religion.
