10 days ago, once-in-100-year rainfall began to fall in southwest Queensland, engulfing homes and devastating families. Since then, the weather has moved down the coast, sitting atop of Sydney as thousands have been ordered to evacuate their homes.

GIVIT QLD Flood Appeal
The funding received from the Queensland Government will allow GIVIT to meet the immediate material needs of Queenslanders impacted by the recent floods, with a commitment to purchasing from local businesses where possible.
Australian Red Cross QLD and NSW Flood Appeal
Australian Red Cross is collecting funds to assist our work in the evacuation and recovery centres. Red Cross is providing personal support at evacuation and recovery centres across impacted flood areas and going door to door providing outreach.
Rural Aid Supporting Our Mates in the Bush Appeal
Rural Aid provides support to farmers affected by natural disasters through financial, wellbeing and fodder assistance.
The Salvation Army QLD and NSW Flood Crisis
Salvo volunteers, employees and officers will be on the ground, journeying alongside Aussies and providing practical, emotional and mental support. The Salvos are providing meals to emergency workers and impacted locals at eight evacuation centres.
St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland Vinnies Queensland Flood Appeal 2022
Donations will allow our Volunteer Members to support impacted Queenslanders with immediate food, clothing, and accommodation assistance, as well as long-term recovery support to reestablish their homes and rebuild lives.
Lifeline Queensland Emergency Appeal
Emotional distress after natural disasters is very real and can be harrowing. Without early intervention, it can cause longer-lasting impacts for individuals and the broader community. Lifeline will provide immediate emotional support to anyone who needs it.
Emergency Services
Donations help in the provision of essential equipment that assists volunteers in performing the many and varied functions that are required by their communities. Donate to the SES here and the RFS here.

Pray for the victims of this disaster, that those who survived will be comforted. That you those who perished will be taken care of by our Lord.

Pray the victims have patience and for family members to be reunited. That everyone gets enough food and clean water and proper shelter.
Pray that the Lord touches the hearts of the world to continue to pray for these people and also to donate whatever they can to help rebuild.
