The founder of Patagonia has given away the business to fight climate change.

Yvon Chouinar, founder of the outdoor clothing company, gave the firm to a non-profit organisation. He could have sold the company valued at £2.6 billion, but this arrangement ensures that all profits are used to combat climate change. The company’s stock will now be owned by a group of non-profit organisations called the Patagonia Purpose Trust.

After 238 days a castle in Victoria has been sold.

Mirabillia Castle was sold after 238 days on the market. Regis Fazzani is downsizing after building the castle himself out of 20,000 bluestone blocks over three years. The 465 sqm house has six bedrooms, a dungeon, wine cellar and a grand hall. The double-brick castle sold this month for $1.3m-$1.5m.

An ice cream shop broke the Guinness World Record for most milkshake flavours.

The Arizona ice cream shop, called Snow Cap, earned the record by offering 266 milkshake flavours and making them all in just over an hour. The Delgadillo family, made every milkshake on the menu in about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The unusual flavours prepared by the shop include peanut butter and onion ring; banana and chilli; and orange and fish burger.
