Bec and Jeziel decided to share some good news stories that will make you smile.

New York has purchased robot companions for the elderly.

Loneliness can have detrimental effects on health such as depression, poor sleep, accelerated cognitive decline, poor cardiovascular function and impaired immunity. So the state purchased 800 ElliQ robots, which were created for adults age 65 and over who live alone. They are designed to combat loneliness by making small talk, answering questions, reminding users to take their medicine, contacting family and helping with daily activities.

A couple has created baby shoes that dissolve in water after your infant grows out of them.

The silky fabric is made from water-soluble plastic, but extra measures were taken to ensure the shoes aren’t fragile. Baby tested and approved, ‘Woolybubs‘ start at $34 for crawlers, and $40 for walkers, and can last for two children.
