Kath Healy from Nature Play WA joined Kirste and Dan to talk about their park of the month for August.
They have partnered with the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions to helps connect all Aussie kids to the outdoors. Over the next 3 years they will be highlighting one park each month and creating resources that support families to get out into nature.
This month they are encouraging families to take a trip to Mundy Regional Park. The Whistlepipe Gully trail is one of the main activities to tick off your list. During this time of year, the trail features blossoms of wildflowers and follows a creek which flows over small water falls. There is also a section that boasts a larger waterfall and beautiful view of Perth City.
