Is it hot enough out there to cook an egg in the 98five car park? The temperature gauge hit 42° this afternoon so Chef/producer Mike was sent out to cook Christine a delicious fried egg.

It turned out that cooking an egg on the road was a bit of a myth and the sea breeze put the final nail in the coffin in our attempts. The wind gust tossed the egg over onto the floor.

Update: as of 4pm both eggs did manage to cook! The 2nd egg was moved onto a tray and put on the dashboard of the 98five car and egg #1 cooked in the glad wrap on the car bonnet! SUCCESS!

If you have any suggestions for foods we should try and cook in the car park this week email us.
