The Mullet, you either love it or hate it. Despite this the mullet has become an extremely popular hairstyle for teenage boys. As a hairdresser and a Mum, Shannon has had first hand experience.
She joined Kirste and Dan this morning on Brekky to ask the family when do parents get the right to have a say about their kid’s hairstyle. “He wants me to cut it. But I can’t there is no part of my fibre that can. So I’ve had to say no.”
Kristiana called in, and as a Mum of four she had some advice to offer Shannon. “The youngest is 15 and he always tries to have a say. Every time the haircut comes around we have debates and discussion. But I say sorry until your 18 I cut your hair and I make the decisions.”
Although Dan, Kirste and Shannon agree with Kristiana, Clint called up to to defend the mullet. “It’s short in the front so it doesn’t get in the way. You don’t have to put it up you can leave it down. It works it’s, party in the back business in the front. If my son wanted one I’d let him rock it.”
