If you don’t know Mel from The Drive Show, here’s one quick fact: she LOVES animals. She loves animals so much so wants to share it with the family. So once a week she shares one of her favourite animal videos.

In 2014 an animal rescue farm, Animal Place, saved a goat from an animal hoarding case. Animal hoarders are people who keep too many animals in severly confined spaces, often with minimal food and water all while insisting nothing is wrong.

The goat, named Mr G, had lived in neglect for years with his buddy Jellybean the burro. When this animal hoarding case was busted, another animal sanctuary offered to take in Jellybean.

Animal Place was unaware of the intense bond these two unlikely friends had developed until they took Mr G home. He barely moved and did not eat for 6 days. All he did was lay in the corner of his stall. He was completely physically healthy but obviously depressed.  Animal Place decided that had to do something. So one of their volunteers made the 14 hour round trip to pick up Jellybean and bring him home to Mr G.

Watch the video and see for yourself how much Mr G’s personality changed after these two were reunited.
