In WA we’re so fortunate to have access to clean, safe drinking water. For some, this is not a possibility…

Join us for 98five’s Watering Day on March 17 as we join forces with Water for Africa to build life-saving wells in the villages of Tanzania. Morro joined Kirste and Dan to tell us why he is so passionate about Water for Africa.

“To think that we live in a day and age where there are still people that don’t have access to clean water. That it such a simple thing that can bless a life.”

He is excited that watering day will give everyone the opportunity to help. “You can dig out $2.50 and even if you had a bad day at least you can think I made a difference for somebody by giving them access to clean water.”

Water for Africa has helped provide clean water for over 2 million people. The average village consists of 2000 people and the cost of one well is $5000, or just $2.50 per person. “Instead of the women and children carrying water for kilometres. They can get clean filtered water from the well.”
