Each week Bec and Jeziel ask local leaders and pastors, to share an inspirational message. This week Geoff Woodward, from Metro Church, shared a message of hope.
Can you believe we’ve almost reach the end of 2021? For many of us, it can be easy to reflect on the past year and think nothing is going right. But Pastor Geoff say there is always hope.
Joseph was a young man who did nothing wrong, but was sold into slavery and unjustly accused. For many years he endured restriction and isolation, before becoming the Prime Minister of Egypt. Through the helplessness, Joseph was always willing to serve others.
“I know I’ve felt helpless myself on lots of occasions in life. One of the things I remind myself is that I’m never hopeless. There is always something I can do.”
Pastor Geoff couldn’t see his grandchildren, who live over east. Instead of feeling helpless he wrote a letter to them every week and would look forward to getting a reply in the mail.
“You are never helpless you are never hopeless. There is always something you can do. No matter what situation you are in you can reach out to somebody. You can help somebody. Switch your mind to go, what can I do?”
