Each week, Bec and Jeziel ask local leaders and pastors to share an inspirational message.

This week Pastor Mark Edwards from Inglewood Community Church talked about feedback. Receiving critique can be tough, especially if it feels like everyone is having a go at you. If that is you and you feel like you have had enough, pastor Mark shared some encouragement that might help. When someone gives us criticism it can feel personal, so try to remove your own insecurities from the conversation and work out how it can help you to improve? How can you learn from this?

“Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” – Ephesians 3:20

God also gives us feedback because He loves us too much to keep us the same. “Jesus has got a plan for our life that takes into account our mistakes. That takes into account the times we are going to mess up.” As people God loves us and thinks the world of us, we don’t have to be perfect.
