The Bible says that, as Christians, we are known for our love for one another. John 13:35 says: “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” Treating each other with kindness and respect is a representation of that love. Derek says, “So as Christians, I think we should be exceptional at doing relationships well. Always thinking about it and proving it, is a really good way to live out that biblical principle that Jesus taught us.”
- Treat each other with kindness: Relationships involve having difficult conversations. Instead of avoiding it, approach it with kindness.
- Forgiveness: Although we don’t mean to we can upset the people we care about. Forgive quickly and move past it.
- Make time for fun: Relationships are built around commonality and chemistry
- Put others first: Good relationships are defined by how you care for others
