Mel Jaye: Beating the Winter Cold/Flu

It’s rainy and cold outside, Winter is most certainly upon us! Ergo, we’re in the height of the Cold and Flu season!

Naturopath Mel (Eden Naturopathy) once again caught up with Mike on Weekdays to remind us the importance of strengthening our Immunity.

Mel had these tips to share with us:

  • Keep Good Quality Zinc, Vitamin C and Vitamin D Supplements on hand.
  • Most people shouldn’t take Zinc all year round (only when needed)
  • A glass of Orange Juice is not going to cut it (and it’s full of sugar)
  • Eat Fruits & Veg high in Vitamin C: Kiwi Fruit, Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli, Strawberries and Blueberries.
