On a recent zoom chat with some city leaders, it was decided that we urgently need unified prayer across our city and state. With the eventual opening of our borders, there is growing widespread angst in the community. Our hospitals and medical workers are already at breaking point. There is a sense that we are ill-prepared for what is to come.

Love WA is a call to fervent prayer across the Body of Christ as our state navigates to the reopening of our borders. There are three main ways you can be involved.

24/7 Prayer Wall, 15 January – 28 February

This has already begun with people committing to cover a half an hour slot in prayer in their own time and place.

Take a look at our simple, signup sheet. Visit the 24/7 Prayer Movement calendar and select your slot. We have already filled over 1,000 slots, but there is room for many more! You can sign up as an individual, prayer group or church.

Prayer and Fasting, 1 – 3 February

There is a specific call to pray with fasting on these three days. There will be many combined prayer gatherings around the city over this time (rather than doing one huge citywide gathering). Worship leaders will also be gathering on the 1st of February to do an evening of worship and praise. One event will take place in the south of the river and one in the north. Prayer on the Air

We will be broadcasting short prayers on-air, multiple times a day. From Monday the 24th of January until the end of February, we will be hosting church leaders from across the state to touch on issues relevant to the reopening of WA and the resulting impact of the pandemic.
