Jodii Maguire, from Think Performance Psychology, joined Kirste and Dan to share some advice on how to build confidence.

One of the biggest misconceptions about confidence is that it means being fearless. But confidence actually means being brave and stepping into situations that scare you or make you feel discomfort. Recognise when you are feeling uncomfortable and try to understand it. 

“If we’ve learnt anything over the last few years, it’s that we can handle more than we thought. So if we can link that discomfort to having that willingness to try and willingness to grow. That’s going to help us build confidence, by getting uncomfortable.”
