Holistic veterinary medicine is based on Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) principles where we look at the body as a whole and utilizes a more natural approach to promote healing and recovery. Neal uses Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Nutrition (feeding wholesome foods) to allow the body to achieve balance and natural healing. On the other hand, the holistic approach can also be extremely effective and beneficial when integrated with conventional western veterinary medicine.
Dr. Neal Loh graduated from Murdoch University as a veterinarian and has a background in veterinary public health and small animal private practice. After experiencing how holistic medicine (TCVM) have changed many of his patients’ and pet owners’ lives, he pursued further training in TCVM from Chi Uni versity (Florida, USA).
At Holistic Veterinary Care they also practice acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutrition for pets. The common saying we have for humans, “You are what you eat” is directly relating to our pets as well. If we do not feed them the healthy and correct diet they won’t be healthy.
