Pastor Phil Ayres from Kingdom City, joined Bec and Jeziel to share relationship and marriage advice.

In the past few weeks, Pastor Phil has been encouraging those who have experienced broken relationships. Divorce can be shattering for people’s confidence. “They equate divorce and death as the most traumatic experiences of the human condition.”

“So do not throw away your confidence. It will be richly rewarded” -Hebrews 10:35

No matter what you go through, God is there to strengthen you and help you find your confidence and purpose again.

1. Find Acceptance: Accept the things you can’t change. Trust God and look to him for help.
2. Ditch Blame: Blame paralyses your power to make decisions.
3. Find things to celebrate and be thankful for: Such as your health, kids, friends or extended family.
4. Renew friends and support people: Don’t be around people who pull you down and be honest about your needs.
