If you’re constantly beating yourself up or talking down to yourself, then you’re not alone.

Many people are overly self-critical and have a poor evaluation of themselves. Self esteem can be thought of as how much you like, approve of, or value yourself, and is really the springboard in which you create what you want in life.

Dr Marny Lishman, resident Psychologist at Channel Nine, joined Mike to explain what low self esteem feels like and how to increase it. “The good news is, research shows that although self-esteem is relatively stable over one’s life, it can change if you put the work in.”
