Shannon is in Melbourne in the West Coast Eagles AFLW hub as part of her role as chaplain.

To her surprise her husband is doing well packing fancy lunches and organising the pantry. “That man shamed me…He’s sending me pictures of lunchboxes with crumbed chicken! I’m not gonna be able to keep up with that.” But she misses her children, although she’s convinced her oldest son probably hasn’t noticed. “It’s actually quite tough. I would say the oldest isn’t engaged at all…but generally, it is tough, I miss them.” So she joined Kirste and Dan to ask, how did cope with being away from your family?

Teagan was in the army for 6 months and was surprised when she returned home. “When I came home I couldn’t find a thing. Even the teaspoons had been moved.”
