Olivia Carer, State Director for West Australia Music Association, joined us for Radiothon!music

Olivia draws her hope through music. “That for me, is personally where I feel God most through my life. It’s where I go to gather my thoughts. If I’m not having a great day I’ll always go back to music.”

The past two years have been difficult for the music industry. Although lockdown and restrictions halted performances, 98five was a way for artists to share their music. But her hope for 2022, is that the music industry will continue to perform without restrictions. She hopes there will be an avenue for young Christian artists to perform in public spaces.

“98five has been awesome especially around the music community. To us artists are career makers, they’ve got so much hope in their lives. To be able to share that with the broader community and new audiences is so important.”
