Today would have been The King of Wildlife Steve Irwin’s 57th birthday. It’s become a tradition to honour his life and work on this day and his daughter Bindi has shared a loving message to her dad.
Bindi is also using this day to share a message she believes her dad would’ve been so passionate about. The removal of crocodile eggs from their natural habit in Queensland to be used in the leather trade.
Happy birthday Steve, we all miss you.

Dad always said that he wanted people to remember his message. He stood up for those who couldn’t speak for themselves. He would be devastated that the QLD government passed legislation to remove 5,000 crocodile eggs from the wild for the luxury leather trade. We are so proud of everyone who is standing with us to honour Dad’s mission. I believe in the government to REVOKE this legislation.
