A heroic cat saved its owner who was having a heart attack.

Sam Felstead was asleep when she was woken by Billy, her 7-year-old cat, at 4:30 am. After realising she was unable to move and had a shooting pain going down the right side of her body, she called her mum for help. Her mum rushed her to the hospital where doctors informed her she had suffered a heart attack in her sleep. She believes she has Billy to thank for being alive today. “He’s never woken me up before. He’s not a lap cat… and he’s certainly not a cat that wants to be on your knee all the time. He likes to be alone.” But despite Billy’s placid reaction when she returned from the hospital, she is grateful that he saved her life. “My alarm wasn’t for another two hours, so who knows if I would have woken up. I do think he saved my life and so does everybody else around me.”

A young boy was stunned when a stranger gave him $1100 at his lemonade stand.

Lexy and Austin Burke regularly raise money on their TikTok through ‘Venmo challenges’. For two years, they wanted to donate a large chunk of cash to a lemonade stand but couldn’t find a good enough cause. Until they saw Niko, a young boy who set up a lemonade stand in an extreme heat wave, hoping to fundraise enough money to go to Portugal with his soccer team. They were inspired by his work ethic and raised $1100 in just one hour. Niko was stunned by the generous act of kindness. “What the heck! You guys just helped me go to Portugal” he said, before calling his dad to tell him the good news.
