Imagine your alarm going off at 4:30am on one of the coldest mornings of the year. Bummer, right? Not if you’re headed to Subiaco Primary School for a Free Coffee Friday with Youth Care!
That’s the happiness Kirste and Dan got to feel this Friday as they packed up the van and headed (slightly) north. Set in the leafy surrounds of Bagot road, Subiaco Primary School is a wonderful old school. Classic brick buildings, an old school bell to play with, how could you not have a great time? Plus, with Evan dishing up the coffee, everyone was properly fueled for success.
Kirste and Dan were joined on air by so many amazing voices from the school community, chatting about what makes Subiaco such a special school.
The East Freo Sharks Netball team made sure the students were properly exercised (and well worn out) before they headed off to their first classes. The Sharks managed to get over 100 kids in their early morning netball clinic. Running, passing, playing, shooting! A perfect way to warm up on a chilly winter’s day. We love partnering with local sports and community groups!
