Everyday items, how long have you had them?

Jeziel came across an article that had a list of items that you probably throw away because they all have a used by date. Things such as sunscreen, mascara, toothbrushes, sunglasses and even pillows all have expiration dates, who would have thought!?

The list mentioned some things that can become dangerous once they go bad. Here is a list of some of them:

  • Disposable razors only needs to be used for 3 shaves. Apparently the amount of bacteria that a disposable razor contains is shocking and can cause serious health issues. And after about 3 shaves your skin is more susceptible to rashes and irritation.
  • Toothpaste should be chucked after 2 years otherwise the ingredients will begin to separate and crystalize.
  • Toothbrushes need to be changed every 4 months particularly if you have had a cold during that time because minuscule germs will have developed on the bristles of your brush.
  • Loofas should be tossed after 3-4 weeks of use! This does make sense due to all the dead skin cells it can harbor.

Thus, we had to ask the question, “Everyday items, how long have you had them?”

Helen gave us a call and she has had a dressing gown for the past 26 years!! Whereas Steven has had a teddy bear for the past 30 years!!

Family, let us know how long you have had everyday items for! Send us a message on our text line or hit us up on our DMs on Facebook or Instagram.
