Have you ever looked at your handwriting and thought “this is so good, it should be it’s own font!”

Producer Leon hasn’t, because his handwriting looks like what happens when a baby gets it’s hands on a permanent marker. But that didn’t stop him! For Give it a Go this week on Drive, he surprised Jeziel with a show runsheet written in his own handwriting.

“But how!?” I can hear you asking “Surely it cost many a pretty penny to have your handwriting made into a real life, Clippy™ Approved font!” Guess again! Using a simple online tool, anyone can have their beautiful script made available in digital form.

Calligraphr will supply you with a template to fill in, consisting of upper and lower case letters, along with some simple symbols. Once you’ve crossed the t’s and dotted the i’s (literally), just scan and upload the template and BOOM, your font file is ready to download.

Surprise your friends and family with a seemingly handwritten letter, or perhaps print out the entirety of the Bee Movie script, and tell people you had a couple of hours spare to transcribe your third favourite Jerry Seinfeld work. The opportunities are endless!
