The Village is a weekly event that has been designed to create a safe place of connection and community support for vulnerable mums.
The program will focus on women’s experience of motherhood.
For example a talk on School Readiness would focus on a mum’s experience in this season, exploring issues such as grief, anxiety, relief, uncertainty, loss/changing of roles, identity etc.
The program will include a social component, an input component (usually a speaker addressing an issue related to motherhood) and then a significant time for small group discussion.
A creche will be provided for children under school age.
