Ian Goodenough is the Federal Member for Moore. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2013 and subsequently re-elected in 2016 and 2019.
A lifelong Christian, Ian is a member of the Parliamentary Christian Fellowship in Canberra, which is a group of Parliamentarians who gather to support each other in their quest to reflect Christian values in their daily work, and leadership of our nation. Ian is responsible for chairing Parliament, as Deputy Speaker, when required.
With an extensive network of contacts in the ASEAN region and a passion for economic development, he serves on government policy committees for Trade and Investment, and Industry, Innovation and Northern Australia.
Ian graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in management and information systems, and a Master of Business Administration with Distinction.
