                                                                 Eagles Steal Comeback win over Crows

West Coast has staged a remarkable second-half fightback todefeat Adelaide by 12 points on Saturday.

Trailing by 33 points early in the third quarter, the Eagles stormed home with 10 goals to 3 to claim an important victory –  13.7 85 to 10.13 73, in front of a crowd of 41,630 in wet and windy conditions at Adelaide Oval.  The Eagles record at the Adelaide oval is now 8-2.

A win like this for the eagles will give them great belief that they can come back from big deficits and set them up for a big second half of the season.

West Coast midfield were fantastic in the second half, Andrew gaff 33 possessions Dom sheed 31, Jack redden and Elliot Yeo both had 27 possessions and a massive 15 tackles each.

One eagle’s player that stood up when it mattered was Luke Shuey. The 2018 Norm Smith medallist had accumulated a crucial 33 possessions 17 of them contested 11 clearances, 6 inside 50 entries and 10 tackles.

The eagles Big Forwards had a big impact on the game, Josh Kennedy kicked 3 goals, 2 of them were important late goals, Jack Darling kicked 3 and small forward Jamie Cripps also kicked 3 goals.

The Eagles are back at home to host the Western Bulldogs at Optus Stadium next Sunday afternoon, while the Crows head to Darwin to take on Melbourne at TIO Stadium next Saturday night.
