We’re encouraged to put the phones and tablets away these school holidays and pick up those paper things…oh yeah books!

Craig Hunter, Teacher and VP of Rehoboth Christian College once again chatted with Mike on Weekdays. He said “The challenge of technology and smart phones is it’s instant and addictive. It also doesn’t help students deepen their learning as it’s one dimensional. Technology is not always bad in our digital world but parents need to create breaks as kids get over stimulated.”

“The best thing you can do is encourage reading. It’s fun but has so many educational benefits: imagination, spelling, comprehension and writing. It also widens knowledge and provides deeper and reflective learning.” – Craig
