Consumer protection safety recall: Winter Gas Heaters

Consumer Protection WA is urging the public to double check their winter heaters. Some gas heaters are currently subject to a safety alert due to potential carbon monoxide risks. The orange highlighted one has been added since their initial advice as it had a different brand name in its early years.

  • Regency i31 (manufactured from 2010) supplied by Fireplace Products Australia Pty Ltd
  • Regency F38 and FG38 supplied by Fireplace Products Australia Pty Ltd – natural gas models only. The F38/FG38 was branded and supplied by Masport prior to 2006.
  • Nectre 2000 (manufactured from 2007) supplied by Glen Dimplex Australia Pty Ltd
  • Real Flame Pyrotech (manufactured from 2012) also supplied by Glen Dimplex Australia Pty Ltd.

Consumers can contact Building and Energy (formerly EnergySafety) on 6251 1900 or by email to energysafety@dmirs.wa.gov.au for more information.
