If we want to support women in the workplace, we need to throw the antiquated workplace structures out.

Who would have thought three years ago that working from home would be the norm? How else can we support women so they can better manage their families and pursue their careers? Let’s challenge the 9-5 work week, and look at new ways of working that ensure businesses deliver on their bottom line. But also contribute to a society that truly supports women.

If businesses can’t see how to do that, let’s support external businesses that can help them. Terri Martin is General Manager of The Marketing Room. A business that supports marketing mums by placing them into SME businesses on a part time basis. She is a mother of two and an advocate for helping mothers better manage their lives for the benefit of families, business, and the economy.
