Do you have a story of an Inspirational woman who left their mark on WA over 100 years ago?

The WA Women’s Hall of Fame is celebrating 10 years and is seeking nominations for the 2021 Roll of Honour.

The Hall of Fame acknowledges the enormous contributions and achievements women have made to the WA community, history, and culture.

Sandra Burns from the HoF Committee says, “Having now reached our 10-year milestone and given the circumstance of the last 12-months, we’re doing things a little differently this year.”

All accepted nominations will solely reflect on women past (prior to 1921) which means, all the women inducted this year will be recognised posthumously.

They would have made a significant contribution to their community, despite hardship. It may have been fighting for human rights, serving through health, education, or State.

Nominations close this Friday 5pm, 12th February. Results to be announced on 8th March (International Women’s Day).
