A cat who spent three weeks on the loose at Boston International Airport has finally been found and reunited with her family.
Rowdy the cat escaped her carrier after her flight arrived from Germany on the 24th of June. Airport staff set up cages complete with Rowdy’s favourite treats and shirts from her owners to attract her using their familiar scent. She roamed the airport for 20 days before she was captured. “Searching for Rowdy became a community effort, with everyone from construction workers to airline staff constantly on the lookout hoping for a positive outcome.” Patty Sahli adopted Rowdy four years ago and is thankful for everything the airport did to rescue her kitty. “I couldn’t think about what if we never found her, or she got hurt.”
