A woman was shocked that her neighbours snuck into her backyard to retrieve their ball that they kicked over the fence, without her permission.

In an online post she explained that her neighbours keep letting their children climb over the fence into her backyard, whenever they need to retrieve a ball. Instead of knocking on her door to ask for it back. So Bec and Jeziel wanted to know can you go into your neighbours yard to fetch a ball without asking?

“I have one gate each at front & back yard when my neighbour replaced the fence. I don’t mind they come in my yard because I know they only come in for a decent reason.”
“Uhh no! What if you have an aggressive dog or a dog with high anxiety? What if you just planted a fresh garden? What if you were out their sun baking? I would knock and ask, unless it is a neighbour you know very well.”
“I think knock first, but what if they’re not home and you don’t have a spare ball? You’d have to call off the cricket match.”
“I think you should be able to jump fence to get ball but all depends on how well you get on with neighbour.”
