May is recognised globally as Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month. This Friday will mark the 13th year Cystic Fibrosis WA will celebrate their annual fundraiser ’65 Roses Day’. To raise funds for those living with cystic fibrosis in WA.

CFWA is swapping their usual wrapping to a pandemic friendly approach. The virtual rose garden, created in response to the pandemic, continues to blossom and has become bigger and better this year! Supporters can purchase a virtual rose for themselves or a loved one, to be delivered electronically upon purchase.

Lisa Bayakly, CEO of Cystic Fibrosis WA joined Lockie to tell us more. “It is so important for these families to be recognised. To have the opportunity, just one day of the year, to stand proud and work together to raise awareness and funds for CF.

Cystic Fibrosis WA are asking all West Australians to support them this 65 Roses Day. By purchasing a bunch of roses at their website to be delivered on 65 Roses Day, or via their virtual rose garden as they work towards their vision of Lives unaffected by cystic fibrosis.
